Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab setting, including scrubbing cases, circulating, and monitoring.

License : RT(R) or RCIS / RCES with CO Fluoro Operator License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : No first-time travelers; ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Description :

This position supports Cath Lab departments.

There are 6 Cath Lab suites available for procedures.

Types of procedures include Diagnostic LHC, PCI, CTO, Peripheral Angiograms, Mitra Clips, ASD / PFO closures, Stroke thrombectomy, Aneurysm embolization, Pipeline procedures, and occasional pacemaker placements.

On-call procedures cover STEMI, LVO, and NSTEMI cases.

Call is required for both campuses.

The role involves working in a high-volume and fast-paced lab environment.

The Cath Lab covers cardiac and neuro interventional procedures.

Response time to call activation is critical and must not exceed 30 minutes.

Weekends may require up to 5 weekends of call per contract, added to the rotation with the team.

Candidates must have experience with various interventional procedures, including but not limited to left / right heart catheterization, diagnostic catheterizations, and embolization.

Skills required include accurate monitoring, maintaining sterile fields, and understanding of hemodynamic monitoring.

Experience with specialized equipment, such as IABP, Impella, OCT, and Rotablader, is preferred.

The role requires knowledge of emergency procedures such as thrombolysis and thrombectomy.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in ensuring patient safety and the use of infection control measures.

Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.

Flexibility to float between units may be necessary to meet facility needs.

This position does not allow for personal time off during high-demand periods.
