Cardiovascular Technologist

HOURS OF OPERATION : CVTs will be expected to be available 24 / 7, including holidays, and shall participate in call coverage a minimum of two weeks per month. The normal tour of duty is an 8-hour day and 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications

• Education : Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program (CVT) or Certified Radiologic Technologist Program (CRT)
• Certification : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT); or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• State Licensure required : CRT Board of Health California or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) for Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hospital experience
• BLS - American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association
