General Description
The general manager directs the restaurant to ensure high customer-centric performance and an agile operation that promotes customer loyalty. Represents Campero as a local face of the brand. Responsible for the intricacies of running a successful Campero restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Establish objectives and goals for operations and oversee daily shift operations
- Pursues implementation of best practices in operation
- Models passion for service, establishing a dynamic interaction with restaurant customers and employees
- Addresses and resolves issues that arise in restaurant operation
- Involves in operational and technical training of employees
- Provides timely feedback on performance and ensures that the team is developing according to the plan, ensuring that the incoming staff meets the company policy
- Maintains food safety and quality standards
- Verifies customer satisfaction / Handles customer complaints, interact with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
- Organizes schedules, tracks employee hours and records payroll data
- Places orders from suppliers
- Manages losses and profits
- Ensures that all cash withdrawals at the end of the day are completed correctly
- Coordinates the daily front and internal operations of the restaurant
- Controls operational costs and identifies ways for operational efficiency
- Coordinates recruitment, selection, and onboarding to maintain a complete team in the restaurant
- Maintains general sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, kitchen services, dishware, and utensils
- Follows and complies with all safety rules, policies, and procedures
