Job description

General Description

The general manager directs the restaurant to ensure high customer-centric performance and an agile operation that promotes customer loyalty. Represents Campero as a local face of the brand. Responsible for the intricacies of running a successful Campero restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Establish objectives and goals for operations and oversee daily shift operations
  • Pursues implementation of best practices in operation
  • Models passion for service, establishing a dynamic interaction with restaurant customers and employees
  • Addresses and resolves issues that arise in restaurant operation
  • Involves in operational and technical training of employees
  • Provides timely feedback on performance and ensures that the team is developing according to the plan, ensuring that the incoming staff meets the company policy
  • Maintains food safety and quality standards
  • Verifies customer satisfaction / Handles customer complaints, interact with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
  • Organizes schedules, tracks employee hours and records payroll data
  • Places orders from suppliers
  • Manages losses and profits
  • Ensures that all cash withdrawals at the end of the day are completed correctly
  • Coordinates the daily front and internal operations of the restaurant
  • Controls operational costs and identifies ways for operational efficiency
  • Coordinates recruitment, selection, and onboarding to maintain a complete team in the restaurant
  • Maintains general sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, kitchen services, dishware, and utensils
  • Follows and complies with all safety rules, policies, and procedures
