The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer Developer to support our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Mission Software & Services team located in Long Beach, California. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) & Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization.

The responsible software engineer will lead C-17 avionics projects and be responsible for the Aircrew Data Transfer Device (ADTD), critical Avionics Development Reports (ADRs), and other cybersecurity-related implementations as the organization grows its product portfolio and implements novel modernization approaches. This critical role is needed to steer design and integration practices to improve maintainability, eliminate technical debt, and scale our software release capability.

Position Responsibilities :

• Coordinates the development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations
• Leads handling of user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues and user feedback analysis
• Leads execution and documentation of software research and development projects
• Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
• Debugs and leads resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products
• Leads development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks

Summary pay range for Senior Level : $156,400 - $211,600
