Senior Vice President of Engagement Marketing
As the
Senior Vice President of Engagement Marketing , you will own the end-to-end strategy that turns first-time shoppers into passionate, high-value membersdriving profitable growth through innovative engagement strategies. In this role, youll lead the development and execution of integrated marketing programs that connect with customers across every touchpointemail, mobile, web, social, and emerging platforms. Your focus will be on maximizing engagement, retention, and lifetime value, delivering high-impact experiences that fuel sustainable growth.
Reporting directly to the CMO, you will serve as a key voice within the marketing leadership team, influencing overall company strategy and collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Creative, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
What Youll Do
Set Vision & Strategy
Architect and lead the customer engagement marketing strategy aligned with business goals and customer lifecycle stages.
Define the future of loyaltyreimagining program structure, perks, and economics to deepen member engagement and grow share of wallet.
Own segmentation, messaging, and cadence strategies for customer journeys incorporating AI to personalize every touchpoint and increase visitation and revenue (onboarding, re-engagement, win-back, etc.).
Build a forward-looking roadmap for AI-powered engagement, partnering cross-functionally to pilot emerging technologies and create competitive advantage.
Lead & Inspire
Inspire and grow a high-performing team across CRM, lifecycle marketing, loyalty, personalization, and digital communications, cultivating a culture of curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning.
Be a passionate advocate for the customerchampioning customer-first thinking and ensuring the customer voice shapes the strategy, innovation, and every brand touchpoint.
Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science teams to deliver clear, actionable insights and use data-driven storytelling to convey growth opportunities.
Fuel innovation through disciplined testing & experimentation, leveraging A / B and multivariate testing to unlock what truly drives engagement, loyalty, and shopping behaviors.
Act as an enterprise leader who connects the dots across teams, aligns engagement strategies with company goals, identifies and addresses interdependencies, and creates shared wins.
Budget & Performance Management
Own and optimize the Engagement Marketing budget, ensuring every dollar drives measurable impact through smart forecasting and disciplined investment.
Translate performance and data into actionable insight, regularly sharing results and trends with the executive team.
Recommend strategic opportunities that will accelerate growth, enhance customer experience, and deepen member loyalty.
About You
12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role focused on engagement, CRM, or lifecycle marketing for B2C brands.
Proven track record of driving measurable growth through customer-centric strategies that elevate brand experience and deepen loyalty.
Deep fluency in marketing technology, data infrastructure, and omnichannel campaign executiontranslating complexity into seamless, personalized journeys at scale.
Expertise in customer journey mapping, segmentation, loyalty program design, and behavioral targeting.
True player-coachable to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams while staying close to performance metrics.
Strong communicator with the ability to distill insights into a crisp and inspiring vision for all audiences, from analysts to executives.
