About This Role

We are currently seeking an ambitious Cybersecurity Systems Engineering professional to help us continue our mission of excellence. This on-site role located in Binghamton, NY, is tailor-made for candidates who thrive on taking ownership of hard problems and driving innovative solutions while working in a collaborative, supportive team environment. Our ideal candidate will possess a self-motivated, positive approach, a strong work ethic, and strategic, big-picture thinking skills.

Technical responsibilities include :

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to establish architecture content and develop solutions that achieve customer needs.
• Have fundamental knowledge of Systems Engineering practices, network technologies, system development life cycles and methodologies, and insight into information technology infrastructure management / monitoring and applications.
• Provide analysis, design, development, implementation , and security assessments to ensure compliance with JSIG / RMF Continuous Monitoring tools and processes.
• Perform system-level analyses, determine and undertake necessary trade studies, define and allocate the functional requirements to subsystem.
• Ensure all program requirements are met, program risks are identified and mitigated, and company processes are followed.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance, reliability, and security of the system, including installing, upgrading, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration.
• Serve as a Cyber Security engineer (ISSE) supporting high-level technical and practical expertise.
