As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Tech Media in IRVINE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as tech / media / telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain access control, and use technology to support daily operations. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tuesday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wednesday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thursday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Friday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related matters specific to a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
