Ability to read labels and speak English and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to take appropriate action .
Ability to visually assess all aspects of facility.
Ability to distinguish smells and temperatures and to hear and respond to pages.
Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Ability to walk, reach, bend, lift, grasp, pull, stretch, stoop and have fine hand coordination.
May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred but we will train the right candidate .
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of food.
Job Type : Part-time
Schedule :
14 -26 hour hours a week.
Weekends, No later than 7 : 30PM
