Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) - School Based, Ballard High School (1.0 FTE)

Purpose

The Nurse Practitioner ensures appropriate comprehensive health care to support the clinical care team in achieving Neighborcare's goals for quality care, productivity and patient satisfaction. Perform independent clinical activities, and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants when appropriate to achieve quality patient care. Work in partnership and joint accountability with other lead team members to achieve Neighborcare's Mission and Guiding Principles and goals.

Please note that as a part of the school-base health care program this position is on standby during the summer for approximately eight to ten weeks. School base employees are not paid during the standby period. The duration of the standby period may fluctuate from year to year depending on many factors.

Seasonal Masking Policy :

As part of Neighborcare Health's multi-layered strategy to limit the transmission of respiratory illnesses during the season of high respiratory virus transmission (November 1 - April 1), we have implemented the following seasonal masking policies :

Face coverings are required to be worn in patient care settings during the season of high respiratory virus transmission, from November 1 - April 1 annually.

Neighborcare Health's seasonal masking procedure also requires masking in administrative spaces during flu season (November 1 - April 1), unless you have received a current year's influenza immunization.
