Job description

Position : Pega Developer

Location : Delaware

Duration : Long term contract

Job Description :

Application development : Design, develop, and configure Pega-based solutions to meet business needs, often focused on automating processes, enhancing productivity, and supporting financial and analytics functions.
Requirement gathering : Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
System integration : Work with other systems and technologies to integrate solutions and enhance the delivery of information.
Support and maintenance : Provide ongoing support for existing Pega applications, including troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
End-to-end lifecycle : Support the entire system development lifecycle, from initial design through to deployment and maintenance.

Typical Qualifications :

Pega expertise : Significant experience with Pega versions like Pega 7, 8, or higher.

Pega certifications : Certified Pega certifications are often a requirement.

Java and database skills : Hands-on experience with Java, web services, and databases (e.g., Oracle SQL).

Agile methodology : Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Communication skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.

Debugging skills : Strong debugging abilities using tools like Tracer, Clipboard, and SMA.

Financial industry experience : Experience in the financial industry is frequently desirable.
