Global Operations and Business Services is a diverse and dynamic group of individuals, whose varied talents and experiences enable us to provide critical infrastructure services that support and / or control the trading, investment, and corporate banking functions of TD Securities. The Global Operations team partners with the front office and other groups globally to mitigate risk and deliver world class service to our global client base. They provide operational support and control functions across the trade lifecycle. The team is heavily involved in new product initiatives and process improvements to streamline our support model. They take great pride in ensuring controls are being continuously reviewed and updated while focusing on the customer at every point of contact.
The Fixed Operations team strives to create efficiency, improve client service levels and reduce operational risk.

Responsibilities :
- Support the MBS trading / sales desk directly
- Trace Monitoring, Fed Dollar Reporting
- Assisting the MBS trading desk with Agency Exchanges, Supers, and New Issue CMO process
- Creating BAM Sheets
- Providing MBS Repo Positions
- Ad Hoc MBS Trading Desk request
- RTTM (FICC), TBA Allocations, TBA Netting, Pool Netting and the Specified Pool Markets
- Client trade allocations, trade confirmations, new account requests along with the identification and resolution of day-to-day issues
- Resolving trade Dk's, fails, and open items
- Support MBS desk consisting of heavy interaction with customer accounts and facilitating the allocation of money manager sub-accounts for client type trading for cash and repo transaction
- The individual will be required to establish close working relationships with the Trading Desk, Sales Desk, Clearance, Technology, Credit, Legal & Compliance and Trade Accounting
- Ensure clarity and urgency in managing issues and queries
- Build strong relationships and work collaboratively within Global Operations and Business Services teams including settlements, new accounts, reference data and change delivery to support the growing Fixed Income business
Qualifications :
3+ years' experience with MBS trade support and MBS product knowledgeExperience with Mortgage-Backed Securities a mustExperience and Knowledge of Broadridge MBSE and TBA allocations helpfulTeam player, collaborate with others teams, encourages other team members to participate and acknowledges the contributions of others.Able to work in a fast pace, deadline sensitive environment and possess good communication skillsA self-starter who is comfortable in a complex role that interfaces regularly with clients, front office, technology, finance, and trade support teamsA mindset of critical thinking, risk management and understanding the needs of TDS's clients and internal business partnersStrong judgement and problem solving Thinks ahead, anticipates questions, finds alternative solutions and identifies clear objectivesConfident with strong communication skills and an ability to articulate complex issues in a concise mannerKnowledge of Broadridge Impact / NAPE systemsStrong knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a plusSIE and / or Series 7, 63 a plus.Inclusiveness

The Operations Analyst TDS provides back up for the Canadian Fixed Income Desk. This individual handles corporate actions, daily cash reconciliation, tracking file uploads into FIST, and is a DTC clearance specialist. Responsibilities include the clearance of London trading activity passing through US broker / dealers. The Operations Analyst TDS advises agent of ticket control numbers for confirmations and performs required system maintenance. In addition, the position maintains compliance files and verifies new clients are set up on FIST, acknowledging that settlement and other client instructions are complete.
