Description :

Registered Nurse specializing in endoscopy needed for a day shift position.

The schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.

No weekend shifts required.

Day off each week will vary and are not set.

Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Floating to an ambulatory surgery center may be required if needed.

Self-scheduling is practiced, but scheduling also depends on unit needs.

Orientation will be provided in admissions and recovery.

Former employees are not eligible for traveler roles regardless of the duration since separation.

Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.

Preferred experience in community hospital settings.

Patient safety and care are top priorities in this role.

Daily census and patient diagnoses will vary.

The unit consists of procedure rooms equipped for various endoscopic procedures.

Specialty procedures include ERCP, EUS, and more.

Candidates should be familiar with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic.

Skills in airway management, starting and maintaining IVs, and specimen handling are essential.

Travel experience is advantageous.

Valid state license is required for all travelers.

Medical and religious exemptions are accepted for required vaccines.

References will be required for consideration.
