Job descriptionEmergent and non-emergent IFTs Critical care transfers, discharges, SNF emergencies PowerPro XT cots, LP-15s, Sapphire IV Pumps, Ventec VOCSN Ventilator Vapotherm for high flow nasal cannula Video laryngoscopy, iGel Ford Transits & Dodge Promasters with performance-load 2 Type III units with power-load Administer emergency medical care and first aid Safely operate ambulances as directed Coordinate with first responders and medical staff Assess and prioritize patient treatment Immobilize and transport patients safely Operate life support and diagnostic equipment Maintain accurate documentation and reports (ePCR software) Sanitize ambulance and equipment post-transport Monitor vehicle condition and report equipment malfunctions Adhere to medical protocols, health, and safety standards Participate in continuous training and skill development Calm and decisive in adverse conditions Adaptable with strong clinical focus Proficient in medical equipment use Compassionate, with strong critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities High school diploma or GED Texas EMT certification BLS certification Valid driver's license and good driving record Lift / carry up to 150 pounds (300 with assistance) Bend, stoop, climb, and crawl across uneven terrain Tolerate high-stress environments with flashing lights, loud noises, extreme temperatures, low light, or confined spaces None
