Position Overview

The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and other regulatory standards. This role aims to reduce work-related incidents and promote a culture of safety across all heavy civil operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs and training for all employees.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to enforce safety protocols on construction sites.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices in safety management, ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and CALTRANS standards.
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions to educate employees on safety practices and incident reporting procedures.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to improve safety strategies and achieve targets.
