Senior Manager, Owner Doctor Partnerships
The Senior Manager, Owner Doctor Partnerships will direct the activity to support the PDS-Supported Owner Doctors with ownership and financing opportunities. Handles highly confidential and sensitive correspondence and performs complex projects. Partners with Territory and Regional Partners on understanding the partnership to build and develop a extensive Future Potential Partner pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Manage the process for Future Potential Partner (FPP) financing including, completion of loan application, understanding of ownership transaction documents and office financials.
- Manage relationship with partner banks that provide financing options; work closely with existing Owner Doctors, FPPs and bank partner to obtain loan approval for purchase price. Clearly outline the loan request to bank partner in order to understand the office financials, dentist income and purchase evaluation to determine loan approval.
- Builds relationships with banking partner and negotiates changes such as improving interest rates and terms for the borrower. Provides direction on adjusting interest rates and terms based on feedback from our PDS Supported Owner Doctors.
- Partner with Regional and Territorial Partners in creating partnership structures for FPPs; transaction structure, timing and provide best practices. Provides evaluation of current owner interest structure and determines effective date based on legal bandwidth. Manage the FPP workflow to ensure the proper approvals are collected prior to offer letter being initiated. Prepares Letters of Intent for the owner doctors based on terms outlined by Regional Partner, which will initiate legals process.
- Facilitate and guide interactions between FPP and Tax, Legal and Accounting and Finance Departments. Explains each detail pertaining to the specific transaction and provides next steps.
- Respond to FPP queries regarding offer letters and legal documentation to the extent of their experience and collaboration with legal, tax and accounting teams when appropriate.
- Act as SME for special projects, including planning and organizing meetings or events. Supports owner dentist education process, such as reviewing content to ensure alignment with new owner curriculum.
- Provide status updates on a biweekly basis to direct supervisors and other supporting departments pertaining to owner dentist transactions. Partners with legal on owner doctor contracts to ensure timelines are being met. Outlines a workflow for the legal department based on highest priority and tracks progress.
- Build relationships and conduct face-to-face meetings with PDS Supported Doctors on a routine basis.
- Develop and facilitate training for new Regional Partners on the Owner Doctor Partner Model and process in collaboration with Territory Partners
- Continue to lead the refinement and process improvement of the Owner Doctor process in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Manage and develop additional team members to assist in the Owner Doctor process.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
- Promotes and supports the core values of PDS Health.
- Acts as a Liaison between Field Operations and Support and works with Department Heads to implement new procedures and best practices at the field level as it relates to Owner Doctors.
- Performs Human Resources related functions, such as interviewing and selecting, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions and salary administration for subordinate staff.
- Participates as an active and enthusiastic member of the ISC management team, develops successful working relationships and contributes to the overall PDS Health strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience; prior coursework or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistryFive or more years of experience in Dental / Healthcare / Retail IndustryExperience leading a team, mentoring and coaching other team members.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
