Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant - Must Love Dogs!

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs while their owners are away. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a lively atmosphere.

• Duties
• Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including play areas and kennels.
• Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their dietary needs.
• Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or accidents.
• Assist with administering medications as directed by pet owners or veterinary staff.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their dogs' activities and behaviors during the day.
• Conduct daily health checks on all dogs to identify any signs of illness or distress.
• Participate in training sessions for dog handling techniques and safety protocols.
• Use the MoeGo app to input information and communicate with clients.
• Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas :

• Dog handling and care
• Pet sitting or daycare experience
• Customer service skills related to pet care
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques
• Experience with heavy lifting as required for moving equipment or supplies
• Familiarity with dog training methods
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving
