We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in configuring and maintaining network devices, developing software, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Implement network security measures in compliance with government standards.

Support network upgrades and migrations.

Document network configurations and procedures.

Collaborate with cybersecurity and systems engineering teams.

Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support mission requirements.

Assist in debugging, testing, and documenting software components.

Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to implement software solutions.

Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices.

Support integration and deployment of software in classified environments.

Essential Skills

Experience with Linux and Java.

Ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

1-15 years of experience in software development, preferably in Java or Python.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as Python Institute or CompTIA Security+.

Certification or relevant coursework in software development preferred.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our client site located in Fort Meade.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Odenton, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00 / hr.
