Job description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Knoxville. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with hybrid flexibility, offering a great opportunity for long-term placement.

Responsibilities

  • Process and submit medical claims accurately and efficiently
  • Verify insurance coverage and patient information
  • Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely payments

Qualifications

  • Must have prior medical billing experience
  • Knowledge of insurance processes and billing codes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office
