Operations Manager (Memphis)

Our client is currently seeking a full-time Operations Manager to perform and oversee highway maintenance operations in the Memphis, TN area . The project is a multi-year, performance-based, transportation asset management contract with Tennessee's Department of Transportation. This position requires incident management coordination as well as supervision of in-house maintenance crews and area managers which includes a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance, including but not limited to, pothole patching, drain cleaning, vegetation management, sweeping, ground signs, road patrol, incident response, and more. Adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Required Experience :

Minimum of five (5) years of construction related experience, Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Earth Strong, leadership qualities; must have experience in overseeing, directing and leading construction crews.

Preferred Experience :

• Maintenance of Traffic Certifications
• Knowledge in Herbicide application / licensing in Right of way and aquatic pest
• Planning, scheduling, and estimating
• General knowledge with regards to highway lighting

Clean driving record is essential

Must pass criminal background check
