Program Manager II

In the role of Program Manager II you will work independently under the direction of the faculty member serving as the Program Director or designee to oversee the coordination, training and technical assistance, research, analysis, and program evaluation needs for multiple public health initiatives. The primary responsibilities for this position will be to provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals. The position also places a strong emphasis on working with partners and other stakeholders within MCW, the local community, and across Wisconsin. This position will help to lead multi-disciplinary project teams with diverse community, agency, and academic partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain project timelines including tracking deadlines for program deliverables.
- Assist in developing and monitoring program budget and resources including grant writing and management.
- Provide direct leadership to assigned team members and contribute to overall team leadership.
- Oversee training and on-boarding for team members.
- Oversee the organization of internal and external meetings, trainings, and other events and conduct meeting follow-up as needed.
- Serve as a primary coordination point for program and project outreach and engagement activities including acting as a liaison and convener with internal MCW partners and external agencies including other academic institutions, government organizations (local, state, federal), and community-based organizations.
- Lead training and technical assistance to partners, stakeholders, or grantees related to specific projects or initiatives.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, visualization, and dissemination of program data.
- Coordinate the development of program documents including educational, training, and marketing materials, websites, forms, data collection instruments, and reports.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive databases, shared file locations, and files related to the program, while maintaining data quality, security and confidentiality.
- Participate in data collection efforts and utilize a variety of data sources (e.g., program data, data from external organizations, surveys) based on the project design.
