About This Role :
Citizens of the World is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct services, assessments, and support to students with speech and language needs. The SLP plays a critical role in ensuring students access their educational program fully and effectively, in collaboration with school teams and families.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver speech-language therapy using a variety of models and approaches
- Conduct screenings, formal assessments, and write comprehensive evaluation reports
- Develop and implement IEP goals and service plans aligned to students' needs
- Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators to support classroom integration of communication strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage with families about student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Welligent or other required systems
- Contribute to the regional Special Education team and special projects as needed
- Travel between school sites as assigned
