Final Quality Inspector I

Job Description

Position Summary :

This position is responsible for ensuring that materials (supplied or manufactured) and processes conform to their stated requirements through electrical, dimensional, and visual inspections. Performs practical assignments of a technical substance and records results with a high degree of accuracy.

Essential Functions :

• Functional testing : functionally test procured and manufactured material using established test systems and procedures. Perform testing at the standard rate if it is established for that testing activity or work center.
• Documentation review and record keeping : Correctly assess pass / fail conditions, accurately document results and activity confirmations. Review and adhere to all documentation standards.
• Inspection : Conduct basic in-process and final inspection to determine if visual, labeling, dimensional, and other specifications of the material are met.

Performs other duties as assigned.
