Unit Highlights

Nurses in IV Therapy provide vascular access to patients across the entire hospital! These skilled RN’s place peripheral IV lines, insert and maintain PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) lines, and are experts in ultrasound guided catheter insertion. The department frequently leads training sessions & contributes to research projects and process improvement processes throughout the department of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
