Summary :
Under general supervision but works independently, performing routine cleaning, general maintenance and repair on 26 banana rooms. Maintenance areas include calibrations, adjustments, and lubrication.
1st shift (9 : AM or 11AM start time), weekends off, with 8 hour or 10 hour shift so 2 or 3 days off depending on what you prefer! $20 per hour plus the ability to earn an attendance incentive of up to $4 extra per hour!
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following) :
- Perform cleaning of two banana rooms per week. Cleanings include a visual inspection for mold and damage, equipment testing, sensor calibration, pressure washing, scrubbing, coil cleaning, humidifier cleaning and door lubrications.
- Repair banana room damaged doors, curtains, bumpers, and seals.
- Maintain banana room doors, cleaning equipment, RO systems, and racking.
- Navigate and manipulate banana room controls.
- Conduct tests of safety equipment (Emergency exit devices, and fall protection. etc.) to ensure OHSA and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records.
- Communicate room status via email daily, and respond to requests.
- Wear proper PPE, and follow lock out tag out process while performing tasks.
- Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping duties as required.
- Comply with Company safety procedures in the workplace.
- Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift
- Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
