About the Role :
A growing financial services firm in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist to support their expanding payroll and bookkeeping operations. This part-time, permanent role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong Excel skills who enjoys client interaction and a flexible schedule.
What You'll Do :
- Process payroll manually : including entering employee hours, calculating wages, and handling deductions
- Perform data entry, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
- Communicate with clients and assist with onboarding
- Use Excel for payroll tracking and reporting
What We're Looking For :
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred2+ years of payroll and bookkeeping experienceStrong Excel skills requiredExperience with payroll software preferredDetail-oriented, organized, and client-focusedDetails :
