Expected Results and Achievements
Operate loader to transfer materials from yard to aggregate storage bins (maintain stockpiles), materials from bins to hopper, materials from bins to haul trucks, etc.Collect aggregate tickets and submit to batch office dailyPerform routine maintenance including machine cleanliness, daily service inspection, fueling, greasing, cleaning bins and washout ponds (if applicable). Additional maintenance activities as requiredHelp maintain a hazard free work environment by assisting in housekeeping and maintenance dutiesIncludes cleanliness and upkeep of yard area and bin room areasFollow proper company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations including OSHA safety and quality standardsReport safety hazards and create safety first cultureParticipate in safety meetingsOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to maintain proper attendance while working irregular hours, including scheduled SaturdaysAbility to use power tools, welders, cutting torches / chains and various safety devicesSelf motivated and able to work effectively in small teamsBasic mechanical aptitude and math skills
Education and Experience
Related industry experience a plusExperience operating heavy equipment in a plant environment preferredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredTravel Requirement
