Faculty (College of Education - Elementary)

The College of Education is seeking a qualified individual to teach in the Elementary Education degree programs who will be dedicated to the development of these disciplines at Faulkner University. The chosen individual is expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered education, Christian service, the mission of Faulkner University and the mission of the College of Education. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time, 9-month, position. Faculty rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Elementary Education or terminal degree with 30 graduate semester hours in Elementary Education required
• ABD in Elementary Education will be considered
• Minimum 2 years of experience in academic settings required
• Active member of the church of Christ
