Description : General Requirements

The candidate must be very proficient in Business Objects XI Administration, SAP Data Services, IBM DB2 database and familiarity SQL Database.

The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently of other Application and Software Development subject matter experts. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to learn the various software products necessary to perform job assignments, and the ability to interact with all types of office personnel and clients. Additionally, the candidate must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and the supporting software necessary to perform change management.

Location : Onsite : 145 N Street Northeast Washington DC 20002

Compensation : $45-51hr. W2

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. • Database administration
• user and security management
• system configuration
• performance optimization
• troubleshooting user issues
• scheduling reports
• performing upgrades and backups
• ensuring data integrity and availability for business intelligence and analytics.

Key Qualifications :

Core Responsibilities

Manage user accounts, user groups, and permissions.

Install, configure, and maintain the BusinessObjects platform and its applications.

Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and conduct backups.

Assist with the design and development of business objects and data models.

Experience Requirements :

Day to Day Activities :

The candidate would be responsible for Business Objects Administration, Operations & Maintenance, which will include evaluating product upgrade versions, service packs, and fix packs for impact to applications and evaluating security vulnerability patches’ impact to performance.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
