Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A career opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a dynamic K-12 school environment located in Murrieta, CA. This contract position runs through the current school year, starting immediately and concluding in early October. The role requires 37.5 hours per week, supporting a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school students.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver direct speech and language support services to students in a school setting
  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and other school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and district standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Must hold a valid California SLPA or SLP license
  • Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting is required; clinical or hospital experience alone does not meet this requirement
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • This position is on-site only, and remote or virtual candidates will not be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with solid, practical school experience. Candidates with advanced expertise may receive higher compensation based on their qualifications.
