Electrical Engineer

What you will be doing

As an Electrical Engineer, youll be one of our specialists in electrical systems, across our energy and material recovery facilities. This is a hybrid role with a mixture of office and onsite work, youll spend around ~40% of your time travelling (on average 23 days per week with overnight stays) to provide project and operational support.

Your role will cover :

• Delivering technical expertise in electrical design, HV systems, and I&C within industrial and power-generating environments.
• Supporting project lifecycles : from developing specifications, design reviews, and modelling with tools like ETAP / Trimble, to hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Driving improvements in operational reliability, compliance, and performance across multiple plants.
• Acting as a go-to engineer for breakdowns, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.

The Electrical Engineer position allows for the option of being based at any of our locations with suitable capacity.

Internally this role is called Technical Plant Engineer Electrical.
