About The Position
Job Summary (List Format) :
- Position : Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Location : Morgantown, WV
- Contract : 13 weeks, ASAP start
- Schedule : 4 x 10-hour shifts per week; call / late shifts required
- Stipend : $1,246 / week; Total weekly pay $3,265
- Call Requirements : 1 2 shifts / week, plus every 3rd or 4th weekend; possible holiday call; 30-minute call back time
- Certifications Required : ARRT(R), BLS
- Experience Required : Minimum 2 years in Cardiac / Vascular Interventional Lab; proficiency in at least 2 specialties
- Preferred Experience : Vascular IR and high-level Neuro IR experience (cerebrals, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, carotid stenting)
- Radiation Badge : Must be provided by agency
- Scrubs : Provided by facility
- Licensing / Location Requirements : Driver s license address must be outside 50 miles from facility; previous perm or travel staff must meet time-away requirements
- Core Duties :
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data
- Maintain sterile technique and assist in procedure preparation
- Monitor ECG and blood pressure, document and advise physician
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergent procedures
- Assist as code team during emergencies
- Accurately document procedures and billing
- Participate in departmental education, inventory management, and performance improvement
- Instruct radiography students as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Submission Guidelines :
- Only 1 submission at a time in WVU system
- Travel teams submit together; max 2 candidates per opening
- Additional unit-specific requirements may apply
