Travel Nursing Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1700-$1820 Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026) Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts per week (06 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM), with occasional late stays Hours per Week : 40 Healthcare Setting : Ambulatory Surgery Center – Orthopedic focus Location : Charleston, SC 29407 (South Carolina nursing jobs) On-Call : Not required Floating : Possible within perioperative facility Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off up to 10 hours per 2-week period Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License (must be issued / active before start date) BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing experience preferred) Experience in specialties such as Ophthalmology, Orthopedics (total joints, arthroscopy), ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred Ability to provide or obtain a radiation badge (as required by parent company) Strong IV, medication administration, and patient assessment skills Ability to complete all travel nurse compliance requirements prior to start Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative nursing care to surgical patients, primarily in orthopedic cases Prepare patients for surgery : history review, medication reconciliation, vital signs, EKGs, IV starts, and pre-op medications Monitor and recover post-anesthesia patients, including vital sign monitoring, discharge instructions, and safe patient discharge Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes Utilize advanced operating room equipment : Skytron beds, Stryker power tools, Arthrex arthroscopy systems, and more Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Demonstrate flexibility for occasional late stays and potential floating within perioperative services Why Choose Charleston, SC?
