???? Position Overview : As a Day Service Coordinator, you’ll lead the development and implementation of engaging, person-centered programming that promotes independence and community integration. You’ll supervise Day Service Specialists, collaborate with community partners, and ensure compliance with DHS and 245D standards—all while making a real difference in people’s lives.???? Location : Mankato, MN???? Pay : Salaried, Exempt, $51,700 - $61,000; pay based on experience????️????️???? Supervision : Day Service Specialists???? Schedule : Full-time, M-F, hybrid work environment✨ What You’ll Do :
Design and deliver innovative curriculum aligned with DHS standardsCoordinate individualized activities and community partnershipsSupervise and train staff in 245D practicesProvide direct support and ensure dignity and respect for all clientsMonitor program effectiveness and drive continuous improvementRepresent MRCI at community events and build lasting relationships???? What We’re Looking For :Degree or experience in human services (see qualifications below)Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsPassion for working with individuals with disabilitiesValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to work independently and collaboratively???? Qualifications :Experience providing direct care services to people with disabilities or age 65 and older, preference given to those with experience teaching and / instructing individuals with disabilities, and one of the following qualifications :Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field plus one year of full-time work.
Associate’s Degree in a human services related field plus two years of full-time work.Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution plus three years of full-time work.Four years of full-time work experience under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed above and a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities.Background check requiredPreference for individuals with a proven successful history in group facilitation as well as 1 : 1 training facilitationStrong supervisory skillsMust possess excellent communication skills both with clients and customersMust have a valid driver's license????
