Job descriptionExperience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred Knowledge of machining, welding, and auto painting techniques is a plus Ability to operate a crane for lifting and moving large objects Familiarity with Fabrication Shop operations and inventory management Proficient in using hand tools to perform tasks such as sanding or masking Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Skilled Trades Specialists is seeking quality Industrial Painters with Industrial Painting experience for a local fabrication shop. These positions are on 2nd shift which runs from 3 : 00 PM to Midnight.
If you do not have experience painting in a Fab Shop / Industrial setting, please do not apply.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Apply paint using various methods such as spraying
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished work for defects or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
