Job description

We're Hiring : Safety Specialist

Are you passionate about workplace safety and ready to make a meaningful impact across multiple sites? LHH is working with a century old manufacturing company who is looking for a Safety Specialist to join our team and help drive a culture of safety and compliance.

What You’ll Do :

  • Champion safety initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory standards.
  • Support site safety personnel with consistent guidance and best practices.
  • Develop and revise safety procedures, policies, and training programs.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Investigate incidents, manage injury cases, and maintain accurate OSHA records.
  • Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to promote safety awareness.
  • Analyze safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Travel up to 60% to support multi-site operations.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or EH&S (or actively pursuing).
  • Experience in safety within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
  • Professional certifications (GSP, ASP, CSP, CIH) are a plus.
