Purpose : To provide the overall safety and security of our employees, guests and facilities.

Job Description :

• Monitor access control systems for all employees and guests, verify credentials, issue temporary I.D. badges.
• Monitor all fire and security alarm systems for the Mentor facility.
• Constant monitoring of all radio communications.
• Act as the company's 911 emergency response center.
• Act as Incident Command emergency dispatch center for critical incidents.
• Coordinate with local police and fire for critical incident emergency response.
• Patrol property, enforce parking guidelines, monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings.
• Fill in at the truck entrance to cover vacations and call offs. Inspect vehicles entering restricted areas, verifying shipping and receiving papers and assign proper docks. Issue gate passes and properly scale raw material and scrap.
• Monitor railroad traffic entering and exiting the property.
• Provide for the overall safety and security of company employees, guests and assets.
• Interpret and enforce company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Irregular work schedule required.
• Effectively represent the company to all guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.
