How you'll contribute

Works in collaboration with the nurses and exercise physiologists in the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events. Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Director.

Essential Functions

• Performs duties as assigned and requested.
• Works in collaboration with the nurses and exercise physiologists in the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events.
• Assisting with the patient process flows, such as cardiac telemetry monitoring, vital signs, patient education, patient assessment, maintaining exercise prescriptions for the patient, setting exercise machines
• Assists in cleaning / sanitizing / maintaining equipment. Attends in-services as required for position.
• Assists in maintaining logs as needed
• Adequately assesses and reassesses pain; utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include :
