We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a growing digital / mail-order pharmacy dispensing non-insurance medications nationwide. This is a direct-hire, on-site opportunity for pharmacists ready to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume, automation, and a strong team-oriented culture.
Position Details :
Title : Staff Pharmacist
Location : Southgate, KY (Cincinnati, OH candidates considered; KY license required)
Type : Direct-Hire, On-Site
Start Date : Mid to late October / early November
Schedule : Monday Friday, 6 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM (occasional additional shifts as needed)
Setting : Mail-order pharmacy, high-volume fulfillment (200k+ prescriptions processed monthly)
Automation : Parata automation and other workflow technologies in use
Job Overview :
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care by accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, maintaining documentation, and ensuring pliance with controlled medication regulations. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to resolve prescription-related issues and support efficient workflow across multiple floors of production.
Key Responsibilities :
Accurately process and dispense prescriptions while maintaining patient confidentiality
Counsel patients regarding medication use and healthcare needs
Maintain records for controlled medications and ensure regulatory pliance
Work with physicians and pharmacy staff to resolve prescription issues
Adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced workflow while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Required Qualifications :
PharmD or RPh degree
Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience (retail experience considered)
Active Kentucky pharmacy license ; Ohio license a plus
Strong puter skills and ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
Experience with pharmacy automation preferred (must be noted on resume)
