• Standards of Practice : Guided by the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, RNs collect and analyze health data, identify goals, and coordinate care.\n
• Professional Performance : Engage in ethical practice while fostering effective communication, collaboration, leadership, and quality improvement.\nQualifications\n\nEducation : Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification is required within the first month of employment.\n\nExperience : All RNs are encouraged to pursue the SPIRE clinical advancement program to enhance their professional growth.\n\nLicensure : Must hold a nursing license in the State of Connecticut, with clinical specialty certification encouraged.\n\nPhysical Demand : This role requires prolonged periods of standing and movement, with exposure to various healthcare risks. Ability to assist in lifting patients of varying weights is necessary.\n\nAdditional Information\nThis position is subject to the Connecticut Healthcare Associates collective bargaining agreement.
