Join Our Sanitation Team!

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety? We’re looking for a Sanitation Crew Member to join our team in a cold food storage facility on the east side of Indianapolis. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping our production environment safe, hygienic, and compliant with food safety standards.

Location : East Side of Indianapolis

Schedule : Wednesday-Sunday, 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM

Pay Rate : $18 / hour

Work Environment : Cold food storage facility (30°ree;F and below)

Job Summary :

As a Sanitation Crew Member, you’ll ensure that all equipment, surfaces, and facility areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Your work will directly support food safety and quality by following strict FDA, USDA, GMP, and company sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, drains, and other facility areas following established procedures
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment and tools as needed
• Safely operate cleaning equipment such as hoses, pressure washers, foamers, and chemical systems
• Mix and handle cleaning and sanitizing chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Follow all GMPs, food safety, and sanitation protocols consistently
• Accurately complete sanitation logs, checklists, and documentation
• Report equipment malfunctions, pest activity, or contamination risks to supervisors
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries and cross-contamination
• Support pre-operational inspections and sanitation audits with QA staff
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of sanitation supply areas
• Perform additional duties as assigned
