Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Siemens MRI equipment proficiency for an outpatient oncology care setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a newly opened outpatient oncology center with state-of-the-art imaging technology
  • Patient population spans neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Primary modality is MRI; also equipped with CT, X-ray, and C-arm
  • Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion, and perfusion imaging
  • Uses Siemens MRI scanners and Epic EMR documentation system
  • Rotating schedule with most shifts as 4x10 hours (8 : 30 AM–7 : 00 PM), may be 5x8 hours (8 : 30 AM–5 : 00 PM) to cover vacations
  • Perform MRI scans, start IVs, obtain vitals, and ensure MRI safety screenings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment
  • No 30-day break required between assignments for this specialty
  • Scrubs or attire requirements not specified
  • First-time travelers will be considered if not otherwise noted

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist in an outpatient or hospital setting
  • Current ARRT registration and BLS certification
  • Proficiency in Siemens MRI equipment and Epic documentation system required
  • IV start, phlebotomy, and contrast administration experience required
  • Experience with PACS required
  • Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and various imaging techniques
  • Advanced ARRT certification preferred
  • License required if applicable
