Heavy Truck Driver

Support IQ and Fixed Price work operating a dump truck, hauling materials to and / or from the worksite. Job will also involve chainsaw work, manual loading of trucks, trimming loads, and other related work as needed to complete the assigned job.

Operate the dump truck to haul materials to and from the worksite

Proper loading of truck to include trimming, securing and covering all loads before transport

Manually load materials into truck when necessary

Routine maintenance / inspections of the truck

General chainsaw work as required

Follow all safety procedures

Other duties as assigned

Performs other duties as required to fulfill customer contract obligations or changes based on customer needs.

Adequate hearing required for conversation, telephone use, and emergency information systems.

Ability to be independently mobile on all surfaces and situations.

Ability to move safely about work area.

Ability to retrieve items from high and low areas.

Ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and / or textures.

Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day.

Work will be performed outdoors in all seasons.

Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather.

Work is expected to continue in light rains.

Employee should be able to drive / operate the truck for 2 hours at a time on uneven and sometimes rough terrain.

Employee should be able to move about on outdoor unfinished grounds and inclines up to 45 degrees.
