Underwriter II

A company is looking for an Underwriter II to join their operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction, and DSCR loans according to company guidelines

Evaluate borrower profiles, including creditworthiness and collateral, and analyze loan structures

Maintain clear documentation supporting all underwriting decisions and partner with team members for efficient file flow

Required Qualifications

3+ years of underwriting experience in private lending or similar environments

Proficiency in DSCR loan analysis and RTL loan mechanics

Experience evaluating 1-4 unit investment properties and understanding residential collateral standards

Familiarity with entity structures such as LLCs, Corporations, and Trusts

Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
