A Brief Overview
Follows laboratory policies and procedures to perform high and moderate complexity testing. Performs pre-analytical and post-analytical laboratory support functions. Demonstrates clear communication with team members to optimize laboratory operations
What You Will Do
Accurately and efficiently performs pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical processes for laboratory testingMaintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment according to manufacturer's instructionsPerforms and evaluates all required quality control assessments as described in departmental policies and procedures prior to reporting patient results.Evaluates results of laboratory tests according to laboratory protocols to ensure quality patient care.Documents all laboratory activities according to policies and proceduresMaintains and demonstrates competency assessment in assigned areaTakes responsibility for self-developmentCompletes all assigned mandatory assignments within allowed timelines.Additional Responsibilities
