As an Environmental Engineer, you will apply your extensive and varied knowledge of engineering and scientific principles to solid waste assignment areas and related fields. You will be responsible for preparing engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications. This role involves independent work on engineering or scientific problems, planning, and coordinating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork, including surveys, data gathering, CQA liner installations, and inspections in varied terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform office-based tasks such as CAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, and preparing permit applications.
• Engage in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client meetings, and attending industry-related conferences and trade shows.
• Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.

Work Environment

The work environment requires both fieldwork in various terrains and weather conditions, and office-based tasks. This is a Permanent position based out of Murfreesboro, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69 / hr.
