Responsibilities Work in a hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Care for neonatal patients, including those requiring Level 3 or higher NICU support Trauma Level 1 patient care environment Day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, three days per week EPIC EMR system is used and experience is required Responsibilities include monitoring intake and output for neonatal patients, medication administration, and assisting with breastfeeding initiation Documentation must be accurate and up-to-date within EPIC Participation in multidisciplinary rounds regarding patient assignment Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 year and must take a 6-month break before returning No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility Time off requests may not exceed seven days during a 13-week contract Scrub attire requirements will be provided by the unit RTO and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced Requirements Active Illinois RN license (temp license accepted) in good standing Minimum three years of recent Level 3 NICU or higher experience required Recent Level 1 Trauma environment experience required Current BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639660.
