Principal AI / ML Developer

A company is looking for a Principal Software AI / ML Developer.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable applications using large language models (LLMs) and develop effective retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines

Design, train, and optimize machine learning models, building end-to-end ML pipelines and monitoring model performance

Lead data acquisition and feature development, ensuring rigorous evaluation processes and implementing Responsible AI practices

Required Qualifications

5+ years in software / AI development, with 3+ years focused on LLMs or related deep learning systems

Proficiency in Python (and / or Java), cloud-based data pipelines, and MLOps tools

Hands-on experience with models such as OpenAI or Anthropic and familiarity with prompt engineering

Experience integrating AI into enterprise cloud ecosystems

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area, with 7 years of software engineering or related experience
