Job descriptionDemonstrated project management skills, presentation abilities and customer relationship management experience are key requirements Experience working in agile development teams Minimum 5 years of storage or related high-tech experience including interaction with sales, customers, engineers and product development teams In-depth experience of software or firmware development methodologies Experience working with issue tracking tools such as JIRA The successful candidate is detail oriented and highly collaborative Ability / flexibility to work evenings and to travel internationally Ability to independently plan and lead projects, across global sites and internationally Knowledge of traditional enterprise server and OCP server customers Experience working in a global firmware development organization Hands-on experience with SSD products Knowledge of SSD building blocks is a plus Experience with code revision control tools (such as bitbucket)
Job Description
In this position, you will join a new fast-paced team as a firmware project manager working with enterprise SSD customers to develop customer unique firmware concurrently with Phison SSD product firmware.
Responsibilities
- Project management between customer and Phison on firmware co-development
- Facilitate technical communication between customer and Phison firmware team
- Track bugs and work with FW engineers to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Managing regular customer communication and associated action logs
- Drive improvements to development processes to more efficiently co-develop customer firmware
- Opportunity to work remotely by candidate who is a self-starter with influencing and leadership skills
Minimum Requirements
The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
