Job descriptionAudit small parcel and LTL orders for accuracy and correct errors as they are discovered Pack customer orders effectively to provide safe handling by carriers Pack customer orders, both physically and systematically, to ensure carton level detail Ships small parcel & LTL orders using appropriate shipping software (Softeon or Recon Logistics) Prints appropriate shipping documentation for packages and affixes to outgoing cartons Assists in loading outgoing shipments by hand or by forklift Works closely with the customer service team to resolve order related issues Picks customer orders as needed by accurately obtaining merchandise from bins or shelves Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required Helps maintain area cleanliness, safety, security, and organization of the distribution center Assists in managing and distributing customer orders to appropriate order pullers BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS : Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work independently and stay on task to complete given assignments Ability to work with handheld scanners and / or computer equipment Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions Must be able to lift 45lbs repeatedly Must be able to work standing / walking for the majority of the workday Must be able to visually distinguish detail, color, and other characteristics of material and objects Finger / wrist dexterity to work effectively on computer keyboard or grabbing / packaging product _______________ _ _ _ _ _ _ Benefits : NSI Industries offers a competitive salary, performance-based and attendance bonuses for certain roles. This is a full-time, second-shift position (2 :
- 30 PM – 11 : 00 PM) supporting our dynamic and fast-paced operations.
