Physical Therapist
The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, assesses, and treats patients with physical impairments or disabilities. The PT works with individuals of all ages to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, minimizing disability, reducing pain, and restoring function. Uses various techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to assist patient recovery from injury, illness, or surgery. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, provide education on injury prevention and recovery, and promote overall health and wellness.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Education :
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy (PT) program required.
Experience :
One year of clinical experience preferred.
Licensure / Certification :
Valid Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy (PT) license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days of the hire date required. Valid Kentucky driver's license (if home health) required.
